Another quarrel between refugees near Tel Aviv’s Central Bus Station ended in death Monday evening when a refugee, apparently from Sudan, was stabbed in a clothing store. The police have arrested a suspect.
At about 6:30 pm reports were received by the police and Magen David Adom (MDA). The callers said a man’s body was in a clothing store on Neve Shaanan Street. MDA personnel who arrived at the scene found the victim with his throat slit and cuts all over his body. He was pronounced dead immediately.
Police cordoned off the scene, and after questioning witnesses began searching for the suspect. After a short time they detained a man, apparently also from Sudan, on suspicion of murder. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the apparent murder are not known. Police called a mobile criminal investigation unit which began collecting evidence.
