The National Holidays’ Coordinating Committee said that preparations for 22nd Independence Day observances which lasted for more than 2 months are at the stage of finalization.

Mr. Negasi Gebredingl, Chairman of the committee, stated that the programs in connection with the event would involve participation of more than 2,000 students, members of the 25th round National Service, 40 mothers and a number of artists.

Mr. Sham Qal’ab, music coordinator, stated on his part that the long-awaited show by youths and students would entail display of various themes on a large screen.

Likewise, Mr. Tesfamichael Tesfai from the Publi Technique Service Center said that the pertinent bodies have exerted integrated effort to make the celebration colorful.
